The private onsen was soothing and well-maintained.

We were frustrated by the lack of clear instructions upon arrival. The check-in process felt rushed, and our time in the common dining area instead of our room left us feeling exposed. The bed was not very comfortable, difficult to relax and enjoy our stay.

I had a perfect stay with easy access to nearby landmarks like Beppu Tower and Matogahama Park, made my weekend city strolls good. The ryokan is also beautifully serene, with a lovely garden view that hit like a peaceful retreat in the busy city.

Family with children perfect getaway

It was such a relief to have a peaceful stay where my kids could soak in the onsen without worrying about strangers around.

The room was spacious and had a lovely garden view. The futons were super comfy with extra mattress pads, great for us not used to traditional sleeping. I loved the enclosed terrace where I could chill out. On a chilly March day, the room stayed warm without needing a heater. The indoor and outdoor baths were perfect, and I had no trouble reserving my time. Plus, breakfast was a feast!

I had such a peaceful and rejuvenating stay at Ryokan Sennari. The breakfast was a delicious spread of traditional dishes, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate my dietary restrictions. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the room was so comfortable. The staff was friendly and cute, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend this ryokan for a beautiful and relaxing experience.

I recently had one of the best accommodation experiences in Japan at this hotel. the location is extremely convenient, being very close to the train station and other popular attractions. Secondly, the rooms are spacious and offer a wonderful view of the beautiful walled-in Japanese garden with a fish pond. Additionally, the staff at the hotel provided excellent service, ensuring that all my needs were met. Lastly, the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and energizing, starting my day off on the right foot.

All aspects of my stay at this hotel were fantastic.
